How it works

  1. 1

Pick a mode: count business days between two dates or add N business days to a date.

  2. 2

Set up your work week and add your holidays if any.

  3. 3

Read the result: business days, weekends and holidays breakdown, or the resulting date.

How does it work?

A business day is a day you work: Monday to Friday by default, although here you can set up your own week. Weekends are excluded from the calculation automatically.

You add holidays manually, one per line. We do not use an official database because they change every year and region: that way the result follows your real calendar, not ours.

Frequently asked questions

What is a business day?

A day you work: Monday to Friday by default. If your schedule differs (for example, Tuesday to Saturday), set it with the week buttons.

How many calendar days are 27 business days?

It depends on where weekends fall, but roughly 37–39 calendar days. Use the add mode with 27 to see the exact date from your start.

Does it subtract holidays automatically?

No: holidays vary by year and region, so you type them (one per line). Only those falling on a workday of your week are counted.

Business days, working days, calendar days: what is the difference?

Calendar days are every day. Business (working) days are the ones you work, normally Mon–Fri. The tool counts business days and shows the rest as a breakdown.
